One of the most impressive new imaging technologies is magnetic resonance imaging or MRI. MRI is a diagnostic technique that does not require medication which may cause pain, or allergic reactions and does not use instruments that may be harmful such as X-ray Rays.

The operation is performed by sending radio waves that cause the hydrogen atoms in the body to release energy while the patient lies in a cylinder containing a powerful electromagnet. The operation is performed by sending radio waves that cause the hydrogen atoms in the body to release energy while the patient lies in a cylinder containing a powerful electromagnet. Information is sent to the computer and a pretty good quality picture of the examined area is obtained through thousands of atoms circulating with the magnetic effect.Radiologists evaluate these images to investigate the disease. The examination is completed in approximately 10 to 45 minutes. The variation of duration depends on the area to be examined and the amount of information that needs to be collected about the disease.

Because the activity of EM goes very deep, it can perform complex and difficult operations such as brain tumors, brain hemorrhage, nervous disorders and joint diseases.
