Manual Therapy

___________________________

It is the general name of the treatment methods in which manual interventions and maneuvers are performed using special techniques. The goal in manual therapy is to activate the movement system at the highest level without pain and to maintain postural balance. Although manual therapy is a new treatment in our country, its past goes back to Hippocrates and has already taken its place in modern medicine. It is a field science for nearly a century with faculties established in USA and European countries. In our country, manual therapy is applied as a complementary treatment method by trained physiotherapists, by integrating it with other physical therapy methods to prevent unnecessary surgeries and improve the quality of life in all muscle skeletal system problems.
